Jeremiah,

In fact even using LilyPond installed in the system directory, we are no
longer getting the LilyPond error messages. Below are the error messages
from a LilyPond run from inside Denemo, the LilyPond being in /usr/bin.

I think the problem may lie in some of the changes made to environment
variables etc. I am not sure which process is emitting this output, I
don't recognise it.
I'll check in to git a version of Denemo which emits the error messages
that should be coming from LilyPond, but seemingly aren't.
