Details:

Using a sample file, tried File > Print > Print Score and Parts [at this
point, I assumed pdf files to be generated (as happens when choosing Print
Part) but the print dialog appears].

Choosing a pdf printer in the dialog, denemo crashed leaving the messages:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program C:\Program Files\Denemo\usr\bin\denemo.exe

denemo.exe funktioniert nicht mehr

Das Programm wird aufgrund eines Problems nicht richtig ausgeführt.  Das
Programm wird geschlossen und Sie werden benachrichtigt, wenn eine Lösung
verfügbar ist.
