Eloi - this is my blunder - I forgot that even though the gub build
system automatically does a git pull it does not do a completely clean
build. I have to delete a heap of files with

rm -rf target/mingw/*/denemo-*

before make denemo. I've put this in a script now - apologies for the
false alarm.
