Since writing, it occurred to me that I could ask people to email me
directly if they want to register as a user. Although this will mean
figuring out how to disable the account creation...
and if they are going to email, then they could email denemo-devel ...
assuming that is working!

right now, things have gone quiet on the forum - it is human spammers I
presume. There are thousands of user accounts, nearly all bogus I
presume. I don't know why spammers create them.
