[Denemo-devel] do --enable-jack or alsa work?

If I configure and make with

 ./configure --enable-jack --enable-alsa
make


the compilation fails with:

libaudiobackend.a(libaudiobackend_a-audiointerface.o): In function
`initialize_audio':
/home/rshann/git-denemo/denemo/src/audio/audiointerface.c:123: undefined
reference to `jack_audio_backend'
...

Does the Travis build do these variants automatically or are we
suffering bit-rot?
