Well, you can increase the space below a staff via the built-in staff
properties, but this extra space isn't stored with the file, so you
would have to re-set it each session. However, setting a low note works,
especially if it's the first thing you do. What exactly is going on I'm
not sure, but in any case the lyrics were a little too close to the
notes for comfort and I've increased that.
