and, the stupid question is, is it open source?

apart from those two issues I think its a great idea (it just happens
to be that I hate facebook)

I've been thinking a bit.

I hate the system to death but I think we should get a DFEY-NW facebook
group going.

The reasons are simple: it's really easy to get people in the fringes to
join a facebook group before joining a mailing list, coming to meetings,
events etc...

It's a good way to reach out.

What's people's ideas on this?
