There is a much easier way to go.  Use a custom library of SPICE
elements.  You can create a library of icon facets, and place a
"spice template" in each icon.  Then, when the icon is
placed and wired in your circuit, an arbitrary line of SPICE is
generated, according to the template.

Electric already has two such libraries of SPICE elements, so you can
examine one of them and see how they work.
