FWIW, I'll have a fix for swig 1.3.24 checked in later today.

Is this a build from CVS?

I assume that if you run gnuradio-core/src/tests/test_vmcircbuf
it fails with a SIGBUS or SIGSEGV, right?
What version of g++?
