[Discuss-gnuradio] installing wxPython

i had downloaded wxPython from
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wxpython/wxPython-src-2.6.1.0.tar.gz

i tried installing it according to the build instructions as said but it
didn't get completely installed... i tried a couple of other steps as
mentioned in an earlier thread but it is also not working.
can ne1, who has successfully installed it please tell the exact steps as
to how to go about installing it??
