[Discuss-gnuradio] graphic toolkit for spectrum/visualization sink ?

Hello GNUradio users,

I'm only a beginner with this software, only done an audio test with  
GRC, but saw discussions in the mail archive about improving the fft  
sink. haven't tried the qtgui yet (but qwt is known to me), and I  
thought this project may drag some interests here:

a minimalist gui toolkit layer on top of opengl, hence offloading all  
viewing work to the GPU.
The guy developping GLV has multimedia/audio app in mind, using the  
GPU via OpenGL for visualization, leaving the CPU free for DSP.

furthemore, the simplistic look looks good :-)
