Hey, Ricky. This behavior is typical of gigabit ethernet with a bad
cable or other physical layer problem. Have you swapped the cable?
Make sure you are using a cable with eight conductors, not just four.
Have you tested the laptop with a gigabit switch? Have you tested the
USRP2 with another host? I recommend checking the jacks to make sure
they don't have any bent pins.
