Hi, as someone else[1] and myself (and probably others) figured out, libxi-dev must be installed in order to compile gnuradio on Ubuntu Natty, otherwise you'll get a /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXi message. Shouldn't this be caught by the configure script? If so, I guess config/grc_qtgui.m4 could use an extra line or two. Cheerio MB [1] Thanks for pointing this out on http://gnuradio.org/redmine/wiki/gnuradio/UbuntuInstall !
The latest build-gnuradio script: http://www.sbrac.org/files/build-gnuradio Knows about this and installs libxi-dev when it installs the pre-requisites. -- Marcus Leech Principal Investigator Shirleys Bay Radio Astronomy Consortium http://www.sbrac.org
