Thanks for the response! I can now see that output_items is getting properly filled, however, when I try to display the file, I'm still getting zero. Besides a throttle is there a way to control the frequency of the random numbers or whatever source I am creating?

GrExtras is really a test to figure out who's amazing at Python. I
