I just happened to have set up a centOS 6.5 cm for that same purpose this 
afternoon. The patched python file loads just fine, but the code doesn't really 
work- however, I'm still figuring out what the original code was meant to do ( 
for some corner cases) and will be pushing a working, more beautiful version 
soon:-)
