Hi,

I have two questions:

1/ I followed  the different instructions mentioned in this link:

http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/linux-add-a-swap-file-howto/

But when I typed:

address@hidden:~# swapon /swapfile1
swapon: /swapfile1: swapon failed: Device or resource busy

I got the error above.

How to fix this error in order to create swap file in order to update gnuradio ?

2/ For the following instruction , which count shall I put for the swap file in order to update gnuradio on usrp e110 ?

 dd if=/dev/zero of=/swapfile1 bs=1024 count=524288

Best regards,

Wafa HAJ HMIDA

You need to add a swapfile. There swig generated files take an enormous
amount of memory to compile.

Google should give guides on setting up a swapfile. here is one:

http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/linux-add-a-swap-file-howto/
