Does anybody still use the "legacy" GNU Radio ports within MacPorts:
gnuradio-legacy, gr-osmosdr-legacy, and so forth? gnuradio-legacy is
currently at version 3.6.5.1, which is quite old. In my testing, most of
these ports will build on older OS X systems, like 10.8 and prior (those
using libstdc++ from GCC), which are also quite old. They don't build
for me on 10.9 and newer (using libc++ from Clang, which is pretty much
required for newer Xcode), and since 10.11 is the latest & most OS X
users are up to 10.10 if not 10.11, then I'm inclined to remove these
ports entirely since I doubt they're even being used. I value thoughts
and comments on this matter, especially from OS X users. - MLD
