Hi Michael,USRP hardware issues are best addressed on the usrp-users mailing list [1].Can you try using another USB 3 port on your laptop? Also ensure your cables are fully seated. I've seen B2xx initialize as USB2 on a USB3 port when the cable was not fully seated. Can you also try another USB3 cable? It's possible you may have a faulty cable.Last test would be to try another host machine. If none of these resolve the issue of the B2xx not enumerating as USB3, please send an email to address@hidden, and we can follow up there for further debugging.Regards,Nate TempleOn Wed, Feb 7, 2018 at 11:20 AM, Michael Piscopo <address@hidden> wrote:I have a USRP B205mini-i connected to a new Ubuntu 16.04 LTS laptop. The USB hardware is a standard Intel chipset and lsusb and lshw all show the hardware is in USB 3.0 mode. I've used external hard drives in the port before and I'm clearly getting USB3 performance. However when the USRP starts up it reports "Operating over USB 2.". Has anyone run into this before and know how to get it to recognize it as USB3? (Running into overruns at 20 MSPS)Here's some other driver/hardware/firmware details I think is relevant:Latest USRP firmware images (as grabbed by uhd_images_downloader): http://files.ettus.com/binaries/images/uhd-images_003.010. 002.000-rc1.zip Ubuntu Kernel:4.13.0-32-generic #35~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jan 25 10:13:43 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linuxuhd_find_devices output:
