PNG and JPEG support

Hi,

How can I enable JPEG and PNG support in GNUstep? I'm using the xgps
backend but
I cannot find any configuration options to enable these formats ( I do
have libjpeg and libpng
installed on my stock RH6.2 machine). Do I have to switch to the
xdps/DGS backend?

Trying to run Gomoku :)

P.S. Gomoku works like a charm after I converted the images to TIFF.
