The changes made seem to depend on other, possibly non available, libraries:
$ /usr/local/GNUstep/System/Tools/ix86/linux-gnu/gnu-gnu-gnu/backgrounder:
error in loading shared
libraries:
/usr/local/GNUstep/System/Libraries/ix86/linux-gnu/gnu-gnu-gnu/libgnustep-base.so.1:
undefined symbol: xmlFree
That library is a symbolic link to libgnustep-base.so.1.3.4
This is just after installing the above and trying to delete (Alt-d) a file in
GWorkspace.
