GUI apps segfault in RedHat 8.0 |

Hi,
I'm a Cocoa programmer on Mac OS X that really wants to start developing
on GNU/Linux with GNUstep, but I haven't been able to get any GUI-based
applications to run without segfaulting immediately upon execution.
I'm using a clean install of RedHat 8.0 with the supplied GCC3.2
compiler, and I've tried both the stable and unstable current releases
as well as a fresh CVS pull, to no avail. Foundation-based tools work
just fine, but anything using the AppKit segfaults. Compiling is full of
warnings here and there, but everything seems to link fine.
Does anyone know if my situation has something to do with the
distro/compiler I'm using, and if so, is there a patch or some alternate
build instructions?
Thanks a million,
-Ryan Cabell
