I don't think you're necessarily having the same problem. I really 
don't know if bundles were ever even ported to MacOSX. Try running an 
application with

openapp MyApp.app --GNU-Debug=NSBundle

or try running the nsbundle test in base/Testing:

make LoadMe
make nsbundle
 ./obj/nsbundle
