NSApplication -- Segmentation fault

Hi,

Initializing the NSApplication object in my program is
throwing Segmentation fault error


[NSApplication sharedApplication];

in my application is throwing the error.

I am unable to run any of the examples . (Same
problem)

I am unable to install Gorm also.

Any one has come across this problem earlier?

i am using Red Hat Linux 8.0
gcc- 3.2
