and now when I try to run make for gnustep-back:

can't win for trying it looks like... ;)
I very much wish I was at least a beginning programmer so I could understand
this stuff better. Thanks for your patience; all I want to do is run a simple
mail program that doesn't look like M$ Outbreak ;)
