I'm using a debian system tracking testing. I installed gnustep-base1-dev. It doesn't seem to have gone quite like it should. I've got a /usr/include/Foundation link to $HOME/myLibFoundation, but that link target doesn't exist... Anyone else tried to use this configuration.
I didn't mention that I wasn't using the GNUmakefile stuff (i like it, it's just not an option in this project's life right now). I ended up deleting the dead link. By modifying my Makefile as such:
LIBS = -lm -lpthread -lraw1394 -lobjc -L/usr/lib/GNUstep/System/Library/Libraries -lgnustep-base
and .c.o:gcc -c -x objective-c -I/usr/lib/GNUstep/System/Library/Headers $(CFLAGS) $<
I was able to get it all to work. -- Travis Griggs Objologist Key Technology Achille's Heel?!?!
