I am a bit surprised by this posting. It surely is helpfull to have a guide on building a GCC wit Objective-C support, but for the mentioned platform (SuSE 9.0) this is not needed. SuSE has been delivering Objective-C support for years, the package you have to install is gcc-objc. You also need to add a few more packages to your system to have full GNUstep support, I just cannot remember which ones it was.
