Note, that according
to
http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Objective_002dC-and- Objective_002dC_002b_002b-Dialect-Options.html @try, @catch, @finally and @synchronized are only available using gcc with
-fobjc-exceptions -fnext-runtime on OSX 10.3 or later...

I need to update those docs and add something to gcc.gnu.org/gcc-4.0/changes.html.


It works witth gcc-4.0.0 -fgnu-runtime -fobjc-exceptions
- -funit-at-a-time -fconstant-string-class=NSConstantString -O2

I dont know about @synchronized though.

@synchronized is not yet supported for the GNU runtime.
