Standard sounds for GUI

I've been wondering recently what would be a good set of sounds to have for the
GUI library.   We currently don't have ANY standard sounds.

Please share your ideas.

I've also been looking into getting a synth recently to try to create some
sounds myself, but if anyone already has one or can contribute some sounds that
would be awesome.
