I really don't understand, what is going on here. And it is hard to tell
without the tests.log file. Why are you so reluctant to send this file
along?

Lets go through your test report in detail:

--- Running tests in gui ---
This is gnustep-make 2.0.0. Type 'make print-gnustep-make-help' for help.
gmake: Nothing to be done for `all'.

gui/NSCell/objectValue.m:
FAIL: gui/NSCell/objectValue.m

This could be a float/double comparison problem. I could make the test
here a bit more forgiving.

gui/NSPopUpButton/defaultSelection.m:
FAIL: gui/NSPopUpButton/defaultSelection.m

This is fixed in recent GNUstep SVN, no idea, why you still see it.

gui/NSSavePanel/setDelegate_reload.m:
FAIL: gui/NSSavePanel/setDelegate_reload.m

Here we have a real problem, the cause of which I already did explain.

gui/NSView/NSView_convertRect.m:
FAIL: gui/NSView/NSView_convertRect.m

No idea, here I need the log file to see, what goes wrong.

gui/NSView/NSView_frame_rotation.m:
FAIL: gui/NSView/NSView_frame_rotation.m

Again, without the log file I have no glue.

gui/TextSystem/repeatedAttachmentCellHeight.m:
FAIL: gui/TextSystem/repeatedAttachmentCellHeight.m

And once more the same.

      7 COMPLETED
      6 FAIL
    640 PASS

As for the SystemPreferences issue I would like to make sure you did a
make clean before building the application. I had some problems here.
And perhaps somebody else is willing to test the same application. As
long as it is working here, it is hard to see the problem.

Cheers
Fred
