Dear readers,

I ran out of disk space on my machine. After fixing the problem I
discovered I could not add any addresses to AddressManager from
GNUMail or directly in AddressManager.

I downloaded the code, and started digging.

The database is a directory in the filesystem found at:

~/GNUstep/Library/Addresses

(You may want to add this subdirectory to your backup scripts)

Here you will find numbered files with names such as
    99.mfaddr

In addition I found three files named:
LOCK
ME
NEXTID

Removing these three files allowed me to again be able to add new
entries to the Addressbook.

Hope some of you may find this helpful.

Sincerely,

Gerold
