PikoPixel version 1.0 BETA6 is now available.
PikoPixel is a free, open-source pixel-art editor for Mac OS X &
GNUstep, released under the AGPL v3 license.
--- Release info:
Version 1.0 BETA6 for GNUstep includes a number of UI tweaks &
bugfixes. It has been tested on several OS distributions (Kubuntu,
Mint, openSUSE, Raspbian, PC-BSD, Ubuntu), desktop environments
(Cinnamon, KDE, LXDE, MATE, Unity), & window managers (Compiz, KWin,
Marco, Metacity, Muffin, Openbox, Xfwm).
Screencasting functionality is now enabled for PikoPixel on GNUstep
(it was previously Mac-only): Select "Enable Screencasting Popup
Panel" from the Panel menu, and a popup window will appear when the
left mouse-button or a key is pressed - useful for presenting demos.
--- Getting & building PikoPixel for GNUStep:
PikoPixel for GNUstep must currently be built from source code (no
packaged binaries yet); Its source archive is linked at the bottom
of the webpage (not the green "Download" arrow, which downloads the
