Remember the Broadcast Protection Discussion Group?
http://digitalspeech.org/bpdg.shtml

As a form of spin control, the MPAA (grandparent group to the BPDG) has
published a BPDG FAQ. For months they refused to even publicly
acknowledge the group's existence, so this move from the MPAA was
clearly motivated by spin control given the unwanted publicity that
folks like the EFF and us have given that group. Their FAQ served to
reassure the public that mandatory DRM digital TV would have all the
juicy TV goodness of regular free-as-in-speech TV.

Seth David Schoen at the EFF has reprinted their FAQ with rebuttals to
each item explaining the true issues behind DRM TV. The original FAQ
reprinted with rebuttal (along with a link to the MPAA statement) is all
at http://bpdg.blogs.eff.org/archives/000148.html.
