Maybe, but I don't think that Marco has been proposing this.
I think that this idea may be worth some investigation though.

Melody is a wonderful name recently proposed by Marco Manfredini
<address@hidden> for an idea which he has also proposed.  I think
that it might be possible to adapt his idea in some way to solve
the open problem of how applications for the DotGNU platform can
be written in C or C++.
