[DotGNU]Stack Based VM's -> gcc

Hi,

I am looking at the problem of gettig gcc to be VM friendly.

What is it going to take to turn RTL into STL?

I can spend loads of time trying to decipher Java and the .Net spec. What I 
am really looking for is a comprehensive definition of the output required 
gcc needs to produce that is generic enough to cover a large proportion of 
the VM (present and future) population.

Any takers?
