wow, this has been a busy week! i wrapped up the first step of an Identity system in Jabber < http://www.theoretic.com/crown/identity.html > and made the initial release of GiftNet < http://www.theoretic.com/giftnet >, a framework to ease contributing money to free software devlopers.

my apologies for not getting back to this thread sooner.

it so happens that i will have all of this upcoming thursday and friday off from work. i plan to spend it doing even more jabber work, including the dotgnu/jabber effort. so, scratch my previous time restrictions on when the meeting could take place. i will now have 2 or 3 meetings for this dotgnu/jabber effort through-out the day and night, for people in different time zones and such.

so, all i ask now is to decide upon, say, 3 meeting times of one hour each anytime between:
Thursday October 4, 2001 at 3:00 AM UTC/GMT
and
Saturday October 6, 2001 at 8:00 AM UTC/GMT

i will try to head all 3 meetings, and will get lots of jabber people to attend at least 2 of them, to answer questions and provide suggestions. i hope we can get lots of dotgnu people there, too.

the main meetings will happen in a jabber chatroom, address@hidden, but maybe some fast typers can 'translate' the discussion over to the #dotgnu IRC channel and vice-versa, for those that can't/don't want to get a jabber account (it's worth it, though, trust me! :-).

if you want to attend, jabber or IRC, send me a email (address@hidden) telling me your best time(s), and if you will be attending the main jabber chatroom meeting, so i can expect the number of attendees. the jabber chatroom meeting will be fully logged on the web, so those that can't attend one will have that to read.

hope this helps... :)

Jabber can help went very well by everyone's standards. i sent a copy of
it to this list:
