Another nice aspect of this article is how the ActiveBuddy
CEO Jim Kay at first proclaims the lore of venture-capital
companies having to protect their future etc and then, when
confronted with crushing prior art which he didn't know, is
quick to explain that of course his company's future doesn't
depend on patents at all but rather on the fact that he has
the very best software and the best team of developpers.
