"./configure --without-x" is supposed to do it, but there's a problem in
"Xsharp/Makefile.am" - it includes "-lX11" regardless. And oversight on my
part. But that should be easy to patch. I'll fix it in CVS, but an
unpatched pnet-0.5.8 will require X11.
