Adam,
  can you put together a list of Jabber implementations with
GPL-compatible licensing?  With "Jabber implementations", I
mean all kinds of programs that implement one or more of the
Jabber protocols.  Obviously JOSS will be on this list; also
some clients; also any "Jabber-based middleware" if such things
exist already.

    It is true that Adam is also interested in non-free "ransom"
    licenses; that however has nothing whatsoever to do with JOSS.

Ok.

However, I still think you should publish a list of
Jabber implementations that are acceptable for use with DotGNU.
You can say that there may be other acceptable implementations
that you don't know about and that you'll be glad to look at any
other implementations that people suggest to you.
