Matias,Does Dragora have X Direct Rendering Infrastructure (DRI) enabled? DRI allows for usermode apps for direct videocard hardware access.
There is a package `driconf' to easily detect DRI.(At least for my videocard: nvidia), the linux kernel supports DRM (direct rendering manager) since 2.6.33, according to <http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/InstallDRM>.
I want to code a prototype for one thing and utilize the DRI, so I search for a FOSS OS with DRI.
DRI links: http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/Links --- includes OSes+Linux distros+cards supporting DRI.
Regards, Evgeniy.P.S. I ran startx without manual configuration but out-of-the-box it didn't work: was showing a black screen, and also did not react to neither ctrl alt bs not ctrl alt del, so I powered the machine off.
