Hello everybody,
I upgraded the kernel with the pkg on the folder upgardes/ from the
mirrors, the old kernel was 3.2.15 and the upgrade was to 3.2.60.
After upgrading i rebooted and the system didn't boot, wondering what
happened, i remembered i didn't executed lilo and i didn't see nothing
about lilo while upgrading.
So, i booted with a dragora usb, downgraded to the original 3.2.15
packaged, rebooted, it booted, upgraded with 3.2.60 and run lilo,
rebooted, and it booted ok with 3.2.60

in my case i installed lilo instead of grub, and i don't remember much
about grub, but this would apply equally to grub

so, should the kernel-gen-*.tlz packages run lilo, or ask to run lilo,
or warn about running lilo?

My suggestion would be to ask to run lilo and if no, tell the user to run lilo
