[Duplicity-talk] Using rsync --partial-dir for resuming the copy operation |

Hi,
I've tried using --partial-dir as rsync option as explained in the man
page and I've read a previous thread about it in this mailing lists
but it doesn't seem to work for me. I've tried both to stop the client
with "Ctrl+C" and to bring down the network interface to simulate
connection issues. In both cases ".rsync-partial" is created once
duplicity is restarted, but it does not use the existing data in the
destination.
In fact it gives the following error:
"""
RESTART: The first volume failed to upload before termination.
Restart is impossible...starting backup from beginning.
"""
Any ideas on how to force duplicity continue the previous upload? Or
is "--partial-dir" only useful for the retries done by duplicity
itself?
