the discussion of the keeping of backup data on multiple machines brought some
idea back into my mind.
what i want to do (and will if i find time and inspiration) is to implement
A) a simple copy command that let's you "misuse" duplicity's backend
infrastructure to copy one file or folder from/to another backend.
B) a synchronize command that compares existence (it'll assume that every file
found is there and complete, in line with the way that duplicity treats
backends as dumb buckets) and uploads if necessary.
especially B is something i'd like to have to multiply my backups over several
services for extra assurance.
