There was a problem with file permissions.
Duplicity was installed inside
/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/duplicity by default in my
computer and I realized that root user could run it but normal user
get the error.
So, I did chmod -R 770
/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/duplicity (a bit rude, I know),
and now It works fine.
