Follow-up Comment #5, patch #6300 (project duplicity): Actually, the patch was completely removed from the CVS head. I guess that fits the def of 'incompletely applied'. The original patch had 6 chunks of side-effects from previous patches. The new patch should work seamlessly w.r.t. Python version. From what I've been able to tell you may just want to use the basic tuple return and make your own class. The @property feature is available in 2.4 as well.
