URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/support/?106583> Summary: document the need to use the --force option Project: duplicity Submitted by: None Submitted on: Sun 14 Dec 2008 05:12:08 PM UTC Category: None Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 3 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: None _______________________________________________________ Details: I couldn't find explicit notes in the man page on the need of --force for remove & cleanup actions. These should be added under ACTIONS. Also in the overview at the top e.g. duplicity cleanup [options] /target_url [--force] Also remove- or others should put out a warning to the effect that without --force _only_ a listing and no deleting will occur. regards ede _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/support/?106583> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
