[eev] Is eev functionality now integrated into the latest emacs 22.1? What are the ramifications?

Eduardo and other eev users,

I believe I remember coming across a blog entry or email somewhere that Eduardo was working on getting some or all of eev integrated into the core emacs build. 

Does anyone know whether some or all of the functionality make it into 22.1? If so which features?

If not all of the features are in core emacs, can we still use eev with the latest version to get the other features?

If eev will be in a future emacs release, what will that mean for our scripts and things (rename things, no need to load eev)?
