I am not reporting a bug. Only pointing out possible improvements.
touch is a very useful command for me. I have issue with its handling of symbolic links.
When you touch the symbolic links the original file gets touche, no the symbolic link file. I hope you shall be able ro provide me appropriate guidelines on how to achieve this. Parag Dave Lecturer Computer DDIT, Nadiad, Gujart India

Parag Dave Lecturer Computer DDIT, > Nadiad, Gujart India Thanks for the suggestion, but there is already an option to do that: $ touch --help|grep -A2 no-der -h, --no-dereference affect each symbolic link instead of any referenced file (useful only on systems that can change the timestamps of a symlink)
