There seems to be a problem with registers and rectangles. I can
define a rectangle and save it to a register. "M-x list-registers"
reports it's there. When I ask to insert
that register in a buffer (whether via "M-x insert register" or "C-x r i
<number>", it doesn't work, and the error message says
"insert-register: Register does not contain text".
I've noticed the problem in the last few versions, including today's, at savannah.
But I'm not sure when it cropped up, because I don't use this function often.
Thanks,
Michael Blaustein
