Hello!

Since some time mode-line contains the frame's title, for which reason ever. It wastes so much space that I can't see the important parts of mode-line. Trying to customise mode-line-format creates a blob (well, actually it's ASCII like) in my init file.

Is there no short and efficient way to switch the repetition of the frame title off? For me it's not that difficult to read big letters ...

By default, the mode-line only contains the frame name if
window-system is nil or you are using the MS DOS build, so I suspect
some local configuration error.
