I cannot perform secondary selection on my machine now (I could perform
it about two years ago). I don't know whether it's a bug in X11 or
Emacs. After invoking Emacs with `emacs -Q',
`M-Drag-Mouse-1'/`M-Mouse-1'/`M-Mouse-3'/`M-Mouse-2' don't work (nothing
happens). <Meta> is labeled <Alt> on my keyboard (as in most keyboards
nowadays). If I use <ESC>, the echo area says "ESC <mouse-1> is
undefined".

In GNU Emacs 24.3.50.1 (x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.4.2)
 of 2013-03-31 on debian
